It is also true, now I see again, the distance is not so great. Today I see things differently, but to make changes here is good for design.
Thanks mery much.

Hello hipernet,
You can make this changes by reducing the bottom padding in the
tmpl.content.css file in the following classes.
Under the slider, the template arranged the first four featured items as:
Slider
Article 1
Article 2 Article 3 Article 4
How do I remove the placeholder (menu position?) for Article 1, but still retain the horizontal layout, preferably without a large empty space between the slider and the article headers:
Slider
Article Article Article
Many thanks!

Hello alewisa,
We have to see this, can you please provide us with an URL to the screenshot with the problem?
I have never had this problem until I started using this premium template. I try to upload a jpeg or png file and I get the error "file type not supported". Any ideas? I have used other templates of yours without a problem.
Thanks

Hello chuckpool,
Can you please contact us through the 'Contact Us' page and provide with an access to the Joomla admin panel, as well, please provide us with more info regarding uploading images, on which page you are receiving this msg.
We have fixed an issue with showing the 'Edit Profile' button, please download the package from your AS account and replace the tmpl.content.css file from the css folder with file on your server.
Regarding the second issue, sorry we can't help because it is not related to the template. We made some research and found thet there is some bug in the current joomla version. Sorry :(
Hello, I am new to joomla and I was able to easily install the free version of this template. However, I am unable to install the premium version that I purchased and the instructions they give for installing it are not making sense to me. They told me by email I have to unzip it. Well, I did that and now other zipped folders that are being displayed? Do I upload those or do I have to unzip each of those files too? I am really irritated by this company especially since they rudely told me they do not handle support over email and to come here for help. Can anyone please explain step by step how to install the premium version?
Thank you very much in advance!
Peter

Hello peter27,
Our premium templates are supplied with:
1. template installation package - as002035-premium.zip
2. images, which should be uploaded manually in the images/sampledata/as002035 folder on your server
3. googlemap plugin developed by tech.reumer.net
4. psd.zip - template layouts in Photoshop format.
To make the template look as at the preview you need to install the template: as002035-premium.zip and configure the modules.
There are two ways to configure the template modules:
a) by importing j35.2.5.dump.sql file into the Joomla! database;
b) manually configuring template modules through the Joomla! administration panel.
Not a simple question? Not sure why you need to see my site to answer this, its very easy - load your template into a default joomla install, and its is in front of you:
By default, the front page looks like
ARCAM logo menu1 menu2 menu3
Slider animated graphic
search bar breadcrumb bar
Article 1
Article 2 Article 3 Article 4
My question is:
How do I remove the placeholder (menu position?) for Article 1, but still retain the horizontal layout, so it would look like this:
ARCAM logo menu1 menu2 menu3
Slider animated graphic
search bar breadcrumb bar
Article 2 Article 3 Article 4
Preferably without a large empty space between the search & breadcrumb bars, and the three articles.
