You must to have to options: 'none' and 'sample data 002048 template', if you do not have them it means you uploaded a wrong package, using a wrong url, or maybe your hosting provider doesn't allow to install any other software. We think you have to ask your hosting provider to help you or you may order our installation service.
I don´t have any hosting provider, I provide my Joomla environment by myself on a Synology NAS DS 312j with OS 5.1.
On this hardware there is no chance to install Jommla framework other than the package provided by Synergy which is exclusively available within their appstore.
As mentioned before, the installation by manual of AS Template 002048 works like a charm.
Unfortunately, the quickinstall package doesn´t work because of the missing XML-file. I kindly ask you to provide this (manual) kind of installation procedure within your quickstart-package in the future as well.
I understand that I now have to build up another server environment for hostig my Joomla stuff if I want to use quickinstall.

I can't seem to get the main menu right. I put it in position-1 assigned all menu items in the template and I still get a vertical menu instead of the as design menu.

Sorry, there is no such option, it should be developed.
I installed 2048 with the sample data to build one of my new sites. On the 2048 template demo near the bottom you have an item with the name "Welcome to Us" that has an accordion style drop down on the left side with some text and a picture to the right of the accordion drop down.
This item appears to be in module position as-position-21. However when I visit the module manager I find nothing in that module position. If I search for the title I also find nothing. I checked content>articles and components as well and seem to find nothing referring to this module??
I must be missing something? Where is this module setup, what kind of module is it and why do I not find it?

No, we are not using class suffixes, any changes can be done in css files or you can create your own and put it in the style.custom.css file.

can I put videos in? simple Youtube is good. It would be best for actual upload my own videos though too. Doesn't seem to have a video player though? thanks
