Hello JHUGGINS,
We are sorry but there is only one way to preview all settings - install the quick start package. In your case you may install it in some demo folder.
I am using Hostgator (HG), which for some reason, will not support the latest version of Joomla due to the PHP version. HG supplies Joomla 3.0.3. However, I keep getting a can't find XML file when I attempt to install quickstart package. I installed the template manually, but can see this will be a real headache. Is there something else I can do?

Hello ANGILYNN,
In this case our suggestion is to install this template using quick-start installation package on some demo server, after installing it you will be able to preview all settings and parameters, and it will be easy for you to config it on your HG server.
Is it possible to customize the template after installing the quick start or all customizations must be purchased from you? I am hoping it is possible to do it myself and for those who want to, can pay. Is this correct?
Since writing to you, I upgraded both PHP to 5.4 and Joomla to 3.2.2 and tried the quick install. Still got the following: JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find Joomla XML setup file. I am assuming my remedy is still the same, install the quick installation package on the server, correct?
I must put forward my dissapointment. You have a very nice template here; however, your constant cry of "use the quick-start on a demo server" leaves much to be desired.
I did use the technique you suggested. I would rather have seen a crib sheet or other technical explanation.
thanks,
it is a temporary solution to chmod to 775.
after edit and save it is back to 555 again and no save.
Seems that even though I am logged in as Administrator in Joomla, this user role was not set up correctly in the system when Joomla installed.
Seems then not to be an issue with the Template and hence not your problem, but have any clue as to how I can make the Joomla admin user able to save files and keeping the existing 775 permissions please?
grateful for any help.
best regards

Hi,
I have a question about the title postion on the article "About Us" under the About Us menu. I would like this title aligned to the left as with the others, but for some reason it aligns right, and I haven't been able to change it.

You have to install multilingual support in your Joomla Control panel -> Language Manager.

It is designed in such way, if you would lie to move it to the left you have to edit style.default.css file, the following class:
#component .page_header h2,
#component .category_title h2,
#component h2.item_title
{
text-align: right;
}
