Hello AGU1000,
You have some kind of permission problems on your server.
In the Joomla backend, go to:
System (top menu) >> System Information >> Directory Permissions
Make sure all files and folders apart from the global configuration.php are writable.
If they aren't, then you will need to change the permissions, so that all folders are set to 755 and files are set to 644.
You can either do this using an FTP client such as FileZilla or a Joomla extension such as Admin Tools.
If you have already done this, then make sure you have defined your log directory correctly, as sometimes the path to the logs folder may be incorrect. To check/change the path, in Joomla backend, go to Global Configuration and then choose the Server tab and check if the Path to Log folder is correct.
Also, note that you can download the Joomla update package and upload it to the root of your website and extract it rather than use the Joomla update feature.
Or this issue can be related to not correct path to your logs and tmp folders. You have two way to edit this path:
Go to ftp of your account and find this file and edit via cuteftp or filezila or file manager .... configuration.php and find path of tmp or log folders and replace with correct path
Go to admin part of joomla Global Configuration --> System --->
Path to Log Folder
*/home/**yourusername**/public_html/logs*
Global Configuration --> server ---> you can see Path to Temp Folder and change it to
*/home/**yourusername**/public_html/tmp*
after home you should replace your hosting account user name
if you using plesk or directadmin or other control panel you should contact your hosting support regard these path address and replace it in where mentioned
We just purchased 002073 and have successfully installed it on our subdomain; http://www.neu.godlyplay.de
Unfortunately we are unable to locate or activate, not sure which, the "Articles - Newsflash (Advanced)" module. The Joomla Core Newsflash Module is there, but offers none of the advanced options shown here:
If you require Admin Rights or FTP, please just let us know and give an email addy for that info.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello GODLYPLAY,
Sorry, not quite understand the problem, accordingly to your website source code you already have published advanced newsflash module in position 6, can you please provide us with more info?
The access info to your Joomla admin panel you can put in the Special info area under your Purchased items section of your AS account.
I am working on the position-layout of one of your templates. I created my own position, like position-21 and position-21a. Now a ask myself: Is it possible to show both positions (21 and 21a) side by side instead of among themsleves. What would I need to change in sourcecode? Or is it even possible to show two of my modules in one row and in the same position? That would solve my problem too.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello VETTER123,
You do not need to create additional position, in one position you can show up to 12 modules in one row, you have to use Bootstrap column size parameter which you can find under module Advanced option tab. To show 2 modules in one row in position 21 you have to set it to 6 columns for each module.
I'm using your AS Template 002073 template and have a small layout query I was wondering if you could help with?
My query is regarding the featured article section. I have tried to just have the one featured article but the section is split in two. Is it possible to change it to one column? If not how do I disable this section as I'm left with a white rectangle if I just uncheck the "featured" option.
Many thanks,
Christian

Hello SALONGENIUS,
What is your site url please? We have to see it in case to help you.
Can you suggest a way for an Article to be displayed in the area 'as-position-5'. Featured articles is too far down the page. I've tried using a customHTML module but the text is right up against the edge and I can't seem to add any padding.
Regards,
Christian

Hello SALONGENIUS,
Can you please provide us with your site url and the page where we can see the problem?
Sorry for the delay. Site is now viewable and the url is http://176.32.230.50/clubgenius.world/
As I mentioned previously, is there anyway to edit the, section/field/area that would display the 'featured' articles, so that it only displays 1, without the vertical separating bar.
Or turn it off completely so that the white bar can be removed (the one above the slider).
Many thanks,
Christian

Hello SALONGENIUS,
Sorry, not quite understand your question, do you lake to see the article content on separate page without any modules?
Sorry, I thought this was going to be slightly awkward to explain. In the template 002073 you have an area/section on the page that displays 'featured articles'. There are two on display with a separating vertical bar.
I just want to have the one featured article. So far all I can get it to do is display one featured article, but I'm also left with a vertical separator bar and a blank space on the right hand side.
Can I tweak it so that I just get a single featured article, with no separator bar and no blank space?
If not is there a way totally disable this? I have tried simply turning off any featured articles, but all I'm left with is that white rectangle. Which you can see on the current layout.
Regards,
Christian

I've bought and installed AS Template 002073
Premium Version for Joomla! 3.
I get this error when trying to install the quickstart.zip:
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find Joomla XML setup file
So I tried template.zip and i get a bog standard page with all the copy but none of the design elements. Nothing like the demo.
How do I get this set up as per your marketing blurb?
Thanks
The quick-start package should be installed like regular Joomla installation, for more info please see the template documentation:
