I originally downloaded the template from www.Joomla24.com. Just now downloaded it from here and you're correct. The positions do exist.
Will have to redo some customizing on my end, but should be minimal work.
Interestingly enough, I enabled my slideshow extension package and assigned it to display only on the HOME page. However, the template's slideshow continues to display on all the others. :(
If this could be remedied, it would make it much more useful. :)
Realizing this IS a FREE template, I certainly appreciate all the work that has gone into it's development.
Thank you!

We will check what we can do, youre not the first who asking for this feature so we are going to implement it in our templates.
What a wonderful site and the templates are terrific. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and providing us with some premium templates for free. I am sure it will bring in paid business also.
I only have one small problem so far. :-) I can't tell where I can edit the words on the upper left that say ”AS Templates”. I have looked in the CSS sheet and just can't seem to find where to change it. I'm still learning so it's easy to get by me. :-)
Well that makes sense and the only thing I hadn't thought of. Thanks so much Dave! I am loving these templates for 1.6. I have bookmarked the site and will check back.
Hello - I bought this template and I am very happy with it.
I have two small questions.....
First, when using the read more option in an article of a category blog / page the formatting of the page gets messed up. Clicking the Read More button the page format adjusts itself to normal again. For an example see http://www.ray-tech.nl/nieuws. Do you have an idea how to fix this ?
Second, after installing the purchased template the AS logo under the site disappeared as promised. How can change the AS logo in the tabs of the browser ? This is still indicating AS and I would like to put my own logo there.
I'd have to look into the first question, maybe AS folks can answer that one.
The second part of your question is simple. It's the ”favicon.ico” located in the /templates/as002022 folder. Create your logo (icon) as any graphic file, png, jpg, gif, etc. then rename it to favicon.ico and ftp it to your site, replacing the existing file.
Hope this helps.

We will check the first issue.
Blueadmin, thank you for your posts.

By some reason the footer disappeared, in case to help you we will need admin access to the Joomla Admin Panel.
Please contact us by email and provide with login details.
There is a problem with this template in newer php installations. On my server, I don't get the footer to display and instead a popup saying ”designed by as templates” is displayed on every page load.
Can you please update the encoded code to be compliant with newer php versions?

We have fixed this issue. Thank you for reporting.
Hi, thank you for a wonderful template, I do very much love it, and t is easy to work with. My only issue is that I keep ”losing” the slide show. This is while I am working on it via joomla, and has only just started happening last week.
I make a change, then view the site. I refresh the site to incorporate my change, and the slide show disappears. It is there on other pages if I select menu options, but again, if I refresh the page, the slide show disappears. I have tried reinstalling, and also reinstalling and rebuilding my website several times.
What have I done wrong?
There doesn't seem to be an error in the apache2 log files, and I am running apache2 on ubuntu with joomla 1.6, hikashop and the AS002022 template as my default template.
thanks, Gillian

We have to look on this, can you please provide us with URL?
I have not launched my website yet, as it isn't working and doing what I want it to do. So I can't give you a URL.
It might be a joomla issue, as I have just downloaded another slideshow template and it is doing the same thing.
I have tried re-installing EVERYthing, several times, and am now getting very frustrated as it has cost me money buying templates etc, let alone the time. SIGH. I will keep you posted. Perhaps it is something as simple as permissions.

W are sorry, but without to look on it we can't help you.
You don't need to buy our templates, all templates are for free, except if you going to remove AS copyright or have more features.
I have found a work around. I made sure the permissions of the slides were all 664, and each time I reload the site I need to clear the cache both in firefox and joomla. I also make sure everything is checked in, and now it seems to work.
I wanted to remove AS copyright as I got a popup each time I opened the home page that pointed me back to this website. when I enquired as to how to remove the popup, I was informed I would have to pay. It isn't much, and I really don't mind having to pay, as you guys have done all the work and I LOVE the template. But I wanted to test joomla 1.6 to see if the problem was there, with the template or with my system - process of elimination.
So I purchased a few more slideshow templates, but found the same thing was happening.

The ”AS Templates” you are looking for is not text, but a graphic file. You will have to replace it with your own.
It's located in the ”/templates/as002022/images” folder and it's named ”companyname.png”
