Hello EVAREIFLER,
No, quick-start package can not be installed via Joomla extension manager because it already contains Joomla. The quick-start package should be installed like regular Joomla installation, for more info please see the template documentation: http://www.astemplates.com/joomla-template-documentation/55-002022
thanks for your hints!
as far as i understand the procedure of the quickstart installation, i would have to transfer all the content of my former joomla-site with the older template manually...?
best regards

Hello EVAREIFLER,
Yes, after installing the quick-start package you will need to transfer all the content manually.
tks for your reply!
this is gonna be a whole bunch of work as the site provides a lot of content untill now!
isn't there another way to run a clean, working update to my site using your template and the necessary extensions?
regards
dear as-team
thanks for your reply!
i have some further questions regarding your template: as suggested by you i installed the quickstart-package and started to fill it with new content.
according to my hosting-partner i had to update joomla to version 3.4.4 for security-reasons (and they are already asking me to update to 3.4.5 - also for security reasons!)
looking at the new site, all seems to work fine, except the menu and the logo don't seem to hold their positions in the temp: the logo position seems to high - the menu-position seems too low positioned on the site. also the size of the menu-buttons is displayed too large. trying to click the dropdown-submenus results in disappearance of the submenu if the mouse is moved to fast over the icons...
you can find and test our new site under the following link: j3.visionsforleaders.com
thanks in advance for any helpful hint!
regards

Hello EVAREIFLER,
Try to change the logo column size parameter to 3 columns, the parameter you can find under the template Header Configurations Parameters tab.
hello as-team
thanks for your reply!
i setted the column size parameter to 3 and now, the position (vertical) for the menu and logo works fine!
still i experience some problems with the menu-item width: the dark frames around the buttons seem to small and the submenu items still disappear a little too fast, moving my mouse over them...?
any hints on this?
best regards!
