I need to know the logo module and how to work with with the Home slideshow

Hello FIECARLOS,
There is no position for the logo, the logo is your website name which you can change/edit in your Joomla admin panel -> System -> Global configuration page under Site Settings please see Site Name parameter.

What is the setting to have the boxes in the as-bottom-header module overlap slightly the slider image? It is shown that way on the demo, but my site after quickstart does not.

I figured it out. I set a background color in as-bottom-header and that makes the issue.
I have another question though. How can you set the background image to scale for mobile? I set an image in as-content-5 and it is grainy and not scaled right on my iPhone.
