I had used Joomla before and have just got back into it. I found this template and it is just what I needed.
I downloaded the free version but found that your support team take great pleasure in telling customers that they can't help with the free versions.
So, I have purchased the Premium version and your support team are no longer telling me that they can't help me. They are, in fact, ignoring all my emails now.
The instructions on your website are quite vague.
I have installed Joomla 3 on my server. I have FTP access. To where do I upload the quickstart file? To where do I upload the template files? Do I unzip in the server or on my computer first?
I have tried a few things but nothing seems to be happening.
Do you have a phone number where I can get some help?

Hello BRADALEXANDER,
We are sorry, we are not providing support via email.
If you have any Joomla installed on your server you need uninstall it first.
Then take as002032_quickstart.zip file and upload it on your server via FTP or using any other software, after uploading unzip the zip file directly on the server.
If you don't have an option for unzipping it on your server the package should be first unzipped on your localhost/PC and then uploaded on the server.
A quick-start package is basically a fully functional and customized Joomla! package containing the default Joomla installation package, all modules, chosen template and plugins with all the configurations and data in one place.
The sample data in the quick-start package is also personalized according to the template and is much different to the sample data found in the default Joomla package.
It means that the package should be installed exact in the same way like regular Joomla package downloaded from joomla.org website.

I managed to get somewhere by looking at your competitors' websites but I still couldn't get the template to be viewed. I then figured there must be some conflict with my host's Joomla and I am now deleting the entire directory.
I just happened to look at the above forum and found your response to me. How was I supposed to know to look for it here?? Why couldn't you just email me like any normal customer service department?
Do I install the quickstart under Public_HTML? ...or where?
Thanks

Hello BRADALEXANDER,
Yes, in most cases you have install it under public_html folder, you told that you already had Joomla installed on your server, you have to install the quick-start package in the same place.
We are sorry, via email available our services only.

Hello again,
I have followed your instructions but there still is no template visible. When I try to manually install the template I get : "Warning
Template Install: There is already a Template using the named directory: Install. Are you trying to install the same template again?" with no option to proceed. Should I delete everything and start over or is there a way to install your template?

Hello BRADALEXANDER,
Our suggestion is completely reinstall your Joomla, first you have delete all Joomla files and folders from your server then upload all files from quick-start package, as you know it already has Joomla and proceed with installation, at the final step do not forget about to install the template sample data, please see the following page for more info:

I finally got everything installed. I can see the template number in the list but when I try to Preview I get:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Any ideas?

My host tells me there is no index.php installed. Should that not be part of the template package ?

I'm getting there slowly but surely. How do I modify the contact details in Position 30? I can change the address and phone number but there are Icons, Social Media buttons to program, and a small form which I would like to relabel and add a box to.

Hello BRADALEXANDER,
Contact Details with icons, Social Media and Our Newsletters are different modules, you have to edit them one-by-one, all of them you can find in your Joomla admin panel -> Module manager published in position 30.

How do I get rid of the WELCOME article published. There is no module number so I can't get rid of it. I found the article so I can change the text for now but I can't locate the source of the graphics beside each paragraph. See attached screen shot.

Let's see if I can make it clear. The following is on my page and there is no module position for this:

Hi
My site is www.pitview.co.uk I have actually populated the Home article with some text just to make it look more presentable.
More importantly, when I try the site on an iPhone the Menu doesn't work and the slide show doesn't fit on the screen. I bought this template because it would work on all devices. Is there a secret code or hidden tick box I need to find to make this work as it is advertised?
Thanks
