Under the slider, the template arranged the first four featured items as:

Article 1
Article 2 Article 3 Article 4
How do I remove the placeholder (menu position?) for Article 1, but still retain the horizontal layout, preferably without a large empty space between the slider and the article headers:

Many thanks!

We have to see this, can you please provide us with an URL to the screenshot with the problem?

Not a simple question? Not sure why you need to see my site to answer this, its very easy - load your template into a default joomla install, and its is in front of you:
By default, the front page looks like
ARCAM logo menu1 menu2 menu3
Slider animated graphic
search bar breadcrumb bar
Article 1
Article 2 Article 3 Article 4
My question is:
How do I remove the placeholder (menu position?) for Article 1, but still retain the horizontal layout, so it would look like this:
ARCAM logo menu1 menu2 menu3
Slider animated graphic
search bar breadcrumb bar
Article 2 Article 3 Article 4
Preferably without a large empty space between the search & breadcrumb bars, and the three articles.
Many thanks!

The documentation for adding a Contact Us page doesn't work? Trying to follow it and, well, Step 1 is incomplete. The remainder of the steps then do not flow. Is it possible to recreate the "how to" including screen shots that include the menu's referred to?

A very simple query, how do you change the font colour in an article in this template? The template uses a light grey font, but I can't seem to find where to change it to black.
Light grey is very hard to read on some backgrounds.
I'd want to change the font colour globally, not on a per-article basis, so that if I change the background colour again, I can make one change to the font colour, and not have to change numerous articles.

Hello ALEWISA,
Have you try to change colors using the template configuration parameters?

Hi
"Hello ALEWISA,

Which value sets the article font colour? Is there a single value which sets the font colour for ALL articles? Otherwise, which one sets the font colour for "featured" articles, and which for articles which are linked from the top menu?
Many thanks
