I made some images for the slider menu using Photoshop and for some reason, the alignment isn't centered properly - the pictures are all just a bit low in the frame. Any ideas or past experiences with this?

You have to edit the slider background image and css, please look for the following class in the slider.css file:
I'm trying to resolve an issue with my menu items wrapping to the next line in the header section. I would like to either have the menu name be two lines, or change the spacing between the menu items to make everything fit, even if I have to make the font smaller. The two line option would be preferred.

There is nothing to do, even you will change the font size to 10px you still have it in 2 lines. You have to put some of them as submenu items.
