i have a Problem with this Template, the quick start doesnt install when i uploaded it in joomla ....

can i edit the color of the Website from green into purple for example, or is this not possible ?

Yes, you will need to edit css files and/or images.
You can easy determinate the file which should be changed and the css class by installing and using Mozilla or Opera Fireblug plugin:
