Can you tell me how I would change the home page to load a different article rather than the default image with menu's which I don't think is to good for search engines.
Also I see new updates for the template are available, can i just install again to update or do I need to manually copy over the files from zip?

1. Disable the splash page you can using the Template General Configuration Parameters : Show Home Page as Splash Page (first parameter).

2. You need unzip it and copy on your server.
