SUBJECT: Getting a dropdown menu to drop on hover REGARDLESS...
VERSIONS: Joomla version 2.5.9 with AS Template 002042 Premium Version for Joomla! 2.5
I am not sure if this is something that I am doing wrong or that the template is just not designed to do... I want/hope/expect the menu sub-items to drop down on hover, because otherwise the user does not know of their existence... Here is the situation:
1. I have a top menu in position-1 with few menu items. One of them is called "Pets" and is pointing to a single article.
2. Am trying to give "Pets" some sub-items, i.e., create a dropdown menu. For example, I would like under "Pets" to have "Dogs", "Cats", "Birds", etc...
3. Regrettably, the sub-item that I created (only one for now, "Dogs") does not appear when I hover over "Pets".
4. For the sub-item "Dog" to appear, I HAVE to FIRST click on the "Pets" item. Once i do, since I am still hovering over "Pets", the sub-item appear.
5. Furthermore, now that "Pets" is selected, the sub-items appear (drop) on hover, which is exactly what I expect, but not limited to the state of "Pets is selected".
This is a MAJOR problem and I very much hope that you will be able to direct me to resolve this.

On January 24, 2013 I purchased a license for 002042. It was for Joomla 2.5. I installed and used it ok. Earlier this month, on September 18, 2014, I purchased the "AS Designing - Business Club" and downloaded a few templates to try.
I have three questions:
1. I just downloaded the new 002042 for Joomla 3.0 by going to the "Author Club"after signing in. I tried to install the new one as a new template, but Joomla would not let me do that because it is the same name. Before I start breaking things, I would really appreciate to know how I best upgrade/update/replace that template in my already installed Joomla?
2. The only item that appears under "My Purchased Items" is the old single purchase of the 002042 and it says that the license expired. There is no sign of my purchase of the "Business Club" or any other template that I downloaded.
3. Is there an area where I can leave general questions (e.g.,question #2 above is not about any particular item)? Is there a discussion board that I missed?
Please help on both issues... The more urgent one is #1 above.

Regarding item #1:
I believe that what I asked for, i.e., instructions on how to update/upgrade a template, is not "support"... Since these are usually specific to templates and vendors an not a general Joomla topic, I actually expected to find such instructions somewhere (starting with the "how to", which I looked). But this may just be a problem with my expectations...;-)... Or with my understanding of the "Comments"...
Therefore, I will be happy to upgrade my Business membership subscription to the next level, the Advanced membership. Please direct me how to do this.
Regarding item #2:
I may have not been clear... I was looking for a record of my purchase of the membership as well as a record to my downloads under the membership. Can these be found anywhere? Either way, no big deal.

Good Morning/Evening/Midday/Night/Day,
I was looking for a way to change the "first word" title highlighting (different color) in this template but could not find it... I am pretty sure (certainly not 100%) that I used this before in one of your other templates through the Template interface (Extension Manager --> Template Manager --> etc...), where it offered some control over this. Am I missing something? Is there a way to do this without "manually" overriding the style?

After more digging, I found out that what I remembered was from the "Art Slider" module's "Basic Options", where this can be done. Not from a template. So, is there a "secret" place where I can control this for the template?

The new version doesn't have such parameter anymore, but you can easy change the color in the tmpl.default.css file in the following class:
span.hlite {
color: #22a2dd;
}

Thanks. Where is span.hlite defined? I could not find it anywhere, including the tmpl.default.css... I am walking on eggshells because of the known Joomla problem with "Warning Extension record not found in database"...
You have commented on it a while back to another template... Can you suggest how/where best to do it?

The website is not public yet and I cannot share it at this point. Sorry. But if there is a way for me to email/post a couple of screenshots, this may be very helpful.
After a bit more investigation, I did discover something interesting re the different colors. When "Home", the different colors appear, but when I go anywhere else by any menu item from any menu (e.g., "About") or even open an article by clicking a link in the Home article, the different colors DO NOT appear.
