My modules in as-position-30 all appear on top of each other instead of side by side. What have I done wrong and how can I fix it?

Hello MIKEMOYSE,
Have you defined the bootstrap size for each module, you can find it under advanced parameters.

The drop downs were not working but now I have a problem where the left edge doesn't line up with the rest of the items. It sticks out on the left too far.

Hello MIKEMOYSE,
Our suggestion is to install this template using quick-start installation package, after installing this package your site will look exact like our demo preview, it will save you a lot of time in the future.
Regarding the menu, it looks like you have not defined the menu boostrap size under the menu module advanced parameters tab, it should be 12.

Hello MIKEMOYSE,
By some reason your menu was installed in preview mode, try to reinstall it, or as we suggested install this template using quick-start installation package.

Your quick start seems to install Joomla as well. We have a working Joomla install patched to the latest version, overwriting that seems overkill.
I've managed to sort out the menu (Changed font size) but now I can't get anything to appear to right of the logo (as-position-4 ), it always turns up underneath the logo - Currently trying to display a random image.
Is there any better documentation or support? Having paid for this template, both seem to be lacking and I'm wasting hours trying to figure this out.

Hello MIKEMOYSE,
Quick-start package will save a lot of your time, as well quick-start package is a template documentation, because after installing the package you will be able to preview all parameters, settings and just replace the content with yours. If you can't install it on your live server you can install it on some demo server or demo folder and then preview all parameters and settings.

P.S. I never get a notification that you have responded so I have to keep checking back. Email would be a distinct improvement.

How can I reduce the height of the banner where the logo is?

Hello MIKEMOYSE,
Try to change padding in the tmpl.defatult.css file in the folloaing class
(line 1300):
I just tried your quickstart package to "save time"
It wouldn't install on my current host as it requires a higher level of PHP.
I created a virtual machine and installed all the requirements (Spent about 3 hours in total - so much for saving time)
Fired up the new install and there is no sign of the template. There is a folder in the templates folder called as002046 but it doesn't appear in the list of templates within Joomla admin.
Not saving much time ;-)
P.S. still not getting notification that you have responded.

Ah! Using discover I have managed to get it to find the template. Now I have a partially working site with a logo and no content.
Getting more than a little frustrated with this.

Hello MIKEMOYSE,
The higher PHP version requires Joomla, it is not related to the template or quick-start package, even if you download the Joomla installation package from joomla.org site you will receive the same message.
Regarding the second problem, it looks like you have missed the sample data installation on the Final step, without installing the sample data you will not have your site looks like our demo preview. For more info please see the template documentation: http://www.astemplates.com/joomla-template-documentation/170-002046
