1.) I would like to create a JOOMLA! site with a commercial shop. If I use this template (the purchased one), do I need anything else for the shop functions?
2.) Is it possible to run this template and shop on JOOMLA! 3?

The package includes everything for your shop, as well it includes quick-start package, after installing the package your site will look exact like our demo preview page.
The template is not available for Joomla 3, sorry.
