Dear AS, sorry you can ignore my last comment I figured it out :)
But now wondering, how I can make my menu like the one on the demo site.
Originally it came up with ticks next to each word. I got rid of those. Now I would like to be able to get the menus with submenus to drop down? At the moment, you have to click on them to see the submenus. Please help?
Also, how do I get the search box to be in the same module as the menu, but to the side rather than below? I've got it in the same module, but not to the side..
And lastly, how can I get the social media links? I dont see a module for this?

Hello ITSALLSORTED,
If you would like to have it exact like our demo preview page you must to install it using quick-start installation package. A quick start is basically a fully functional and customized Joomla! package containing the default Joomla installation package, all modules, chosen template and plugins with all the configurations and data in one place.
It's very easy to install it. Please see the following page for more info:
I'm trying to follow your instructions but they're just not working. My screen looks nothing like the instructions and I dont know how to get there. When I put in http://www.mysite.com/joomla/index.php which is www.kidshubtc.com.au it comes up with an error :
