Joomla! Template 002063 - Item Support

Dear AS Templates,

can you please provide me a solution to use the google-map plugin twice (or more).
I need (at least) two different maps for two different individual contacts.
In your docs I only see the {google-map} instruction, but that is only referring to the single map that is created in the plugin.
Thanks in advance.
Regards, Robert
Hello ROBERT10,
We think you will find this info by checking the plugin documentation:
http://tech.reumer.net/Google-Maps/Documentation-of-plugin-Googlemap/

Regards, AS Team.
Dear AS Team,

thanks for the tip. After a long search in the plugin documentation and trying a few things in a different manner, most of the issues I had are solved.
I have still one question left and that is that in all the generated maps, including the one in your original template, is showing mutalated controls (for left,right, up, down and for zoom in, zoom out). I can not find anything about this in the documentation.
I look forward to your professional comment.
Kindest regards,
Rob Valk
Dear AS Templates,

In addition to my last comment/question.

I found something on the Internet about a conflict between bootstrap and google maps controls and overlays. This command would do the trick :

#map label { width: auto; display:inline; }
#map img { max-width: none; }

(none instead of 100% and inline) But I do not know where to put it. Please advice.
https://github.com/twbs/bootstrap/issues/1552 is addressing this issue.

Regards,
Rob
Hello ROBERT10,
You can put it in the style.custom.css file, but not sure if it will help you, we was not able to find solution for these controls, we replaces it with zoom like here:
http://asdesigning.com/demo/asj69/index.php/contact-us
If you would like to make the same please provide us with an access to your Joomla admin panel and we will do it for you.

Regards, AS Team.
Dear AS Team,

I put it into the style.custom.css file and also tried to alter the bootstrap.css file. In both cases it did not work, as you already expected.
At this moment there is no immediate need for the alteration because the website is still under development in a testing environment. When we go live and move the website to it final destination, I would like to have this in place. Maybe you can provide me with the details of the replacement, so I can do it myself at the appropriate moment.
Thank you so far.
Best regards, Rob

PS. I do appreciate the effort to help me with finding the solution, but in principal I think you should not sell a bootstrapped template with an extension you know are conflicting. Or you should tell the buyers about this issue, or you should provide them with the solution or include another (working) extension.

Nevertheless I am proudly using some of your templates. My compliments.
Hello ROBERT10,
Please try to add the following code and let us know if it will help you:

.contact_map img
{
max-width: none !important;
}

Regards, AS Team.
Dear ASTeam,

I put the code into the tmpl.default.css file and it works great for just one of the maps. The other two maps still have the same issues.
I emptied the cache on the server and of my browser, but still the same.
Because it works on 1 map, I think we are very near the final solution.
Please advice.

Regards, Rob
This month our company name has changed from Retail Logistics Experts to SKS & Partners. This is to let you know the URL has changed accordingly. I could not change the URL myself in the profile, so maybe you can do it for me. The new URL is skspartners.eu. The former URL is no longer existing.

With the name change, also the company colors changed from red to blue.
The website itself, including the content remained the same.

Can you inform how I can change te red colors in the template to blue for :
a. The menu buttons
b. The title of the slider text (and other titles)
c. The "Read More" box
d. The experts names in Position 7
e. The login-logout button

This would help me enormously. Thank in advance.

Rob Valk
Hello ROBERT10,
We changed the url for you. The colors you can change by editing templates css files. You can easy determinate the file which should be changed and the css class by installing and using Mozilla or Opera Fireblug plugin:
https://getfirebug.com/
https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/firebug-lite-button/
Or you can always ask for our customization services.

After days of trial and error I have been able to alter the color codes in the different CSS files. Thanks for the help/

There is only one code I could not find. When you put your mouse on the social media buttons at the top of the page, the background will change into red. I need it to turn into blue. Can you give me a hint for this last color code I need?

Thanks again for all the support.
Rob
Hello ROBERT10,
You can do it in the tmpl.default.css file in the following class (line 987):

.moduletable.social li a:hover
{
color: #ff2200;
transition: color 0.3s ease 0.1s;
}

Regards, AS Team.
Dear AS Templates,
I found it. Thanks again for all the support.
Best regards, Rob
Dear AS Team,

I have the latest version of the Template put in place. However I encountered a huge problem.
With updating to Joomla 3.8.8 one of the pages of the website (a gallery view) gave a fatal error message : "Using $this when not in object context"
The rest of the website was OK.
I restored a back-up and all was OK again until the moment I updated the Joomla software to the 3.8.8 version. The same error appeared.
Can you please advise? Best regards, Rob
Hello ROBERT10,
Can you please provide us with an access to your Joomla admin panel? The access info please put in the Special info area under your Purchased items section of your AS account.

Regards, AS Team.
Done.
Hello ROBERT10,
Please check, it is OK now, seems Jomla has a bug with Random image module in version 3.8.8

Regards, AS Team.
Dear AS Team,
it seems to be OK now. Can you tell me what you have done and if the problem will re-occur with the next Joomla update?

I said I am working with the latest version of the Template (2.5.0).
I just downloaded the Template again and I saw version 2.5.1 but yhere is no Changelog for this. Are there certain files I have to replace?

In any case I have to thank you very much for your professional and quick help. I appreciate this very much and am impressed.

Kindest regards, Rob Valk
