Hi
I wish to update my site to PHP7. I have version 1.0.0 of AS 002098. I think I will have to update to version 1.2.1 and then change to PHP7.1?
How do I update the template version, please? Do I need to buy the update?

Hello MANDYKORE,
If your license for downloading the template is expired you may extend it from your AS account, download the package and replace updated files accordingly to the release log:
https://www.astemplates.com/joomla-template-news/560-002098
Please do not forget about backup before making any changes.

I have downloading the 1.2.1 template and used the release log to identify files to update. Some old files have been deleted and replaced OK. Some have returned a '502 Bad Gateway' error when I try to update them, but have no effect on the website since I do not use the component. I have failed to upload the templateDetails.xml file. Uploading the includes.php file also fails and since I have had to delete the original file the website has become just 10 lines or so of error messages.
I have reinstated a backup satisfactorily. Should I be doing something differently, or have I wasted the cost of extending my license?

Thank you for this. I uploaded via FTP and the 1.2.1 version worked fine with my PHP 5.6.38. I needed the 1.2.1 version so that I could upgrade to PHP 7.1 as you say that it supports it. However, when I then upgrade the site to PHP 7.1, it works, but with the error message 'Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /home/sites/4a/7/71358def79/public_html/templates/as002098/includes/includes.php on line 86'. This is at the top of each website page. Line 86 reads '$mainContentWidth = 12 - ($aside_left_width + $aside_right_width);
This appears to be caused by some coding which is not in the PHP7 protocol. Should this line be recoded?

I have downloaded your files again and uploaded the 'includes.php' file again via FTP and get the same error message 'Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in /home/sites/4a/7/71358def79/public_html/templates/as002098/includes/includes.php on line 86'.
