Hi just installed the quickstart option and its not the same i get this error on the top im not familier with php how can i get it to display correctly

There is a problem with your server settings. You have two ways how to resolve this problem:
1. Config the server settings, please see the following article for more info: http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?p=2341591
2. Disable any messages in your Joomla Admin Panel -> Global Configuration -> Server -> Error Repoting -> None.

Thanks disabling the messages worked for me
Also the default image bg.bodyfull.png is the wrong colour
do you have the right colour file somewhere else
Also How do you select and apply the different css styles in the template

Can you please provide us with your site URL, we would like to check and fix the issue with the background color.
Regarding the styles, you can change them using Template Parameters -> General Configuration Parameters -> Template Styles.

I havnt uploaded it to a webserver just yet. Its the royal blue colour bg.bodyfull.png that was in the default images folder not the dark grey one

The best way is install the template using the quick-strat installation package, otherwise you will need to learn a lot about Joomla installation :)
1. You have to create a Contact form in the Joomla Admin Panel -> Components -> Contacts.
