Hello,
We have purchased the premium version. The template installed fine but we are having trouble with the quick start. Is there a way we can start from the demo quickstart, when joomla is already installed?
Please advise - Jessica

Hello 4CORWIN2,
Sorry, there is no such option because the package already contains Joomla.
Our suggestion is to install it using quick-start installation package, after installing the package your site will look exact like our demo preview page and it will be easy for you to make changes in the content, preview all parameters and settings. The quick-start package is actually the template documentation. If by some reason you can't install it on your live server you can install on some demo server or demo folder and then preview all settings.
The package should be installed like regular Joomla installation, here you can find some more info: http://www.astemplates.com/joomla-template-documentation/205-002056
I have the quick start installed, and I have a plain version I have created to build it from scratch. I have the plain version, set up to match the quickstart demo slider, but it is still not working. Nothing is showing.
Hello CHAVEZ001,
Sorry, not quite understand the problem, can you please provide us with more info? What is your website url please? Have you installed the package using quick-start installation package?
Hi

Hello IOWNDESIGN,
For fixing this issue we need an access to your Joomla admin panel, the access info please put in the Special info area under your Purchased items section of your AS account.
All modules in the quickstart does not open, they will instead show the name of the module by the left hand side of the browser when try to access and edit the module. Additionally, I have this warning in the warnings
There are some warnings detected.
The PHP temporary folder is not set.
The PHP temporary folder is the folder that PHP uses to store an uploaded file before Joomla can access this file. Whilst the folder not being set isn't always a problem, if you are having issues with manifest files not being detected or uploaded files not being detected, setting this in your php.ini file might fix the issue.
Maximum PHP file upload size is too small: This is set in php.ini in both upload_max_filesize and post_max_size settings of your PHP settings (located in php.ini and/or .htaccess file).
The maximum file size for uploads is set to less than 8MB which may impact on uploading large packages.

Hello MAILLAWALE,
Try to clear your browser's cache as well as your site cache.
The detected warnings are not related to the template, it is related to your server configurations.
Please help, my website does not show slides on mobile devices. Also, I tried using icons in the address for contacts in Position: as-position-30 but the icons does not look visible. Often too small no matter the size at backend.

Hello MAILLAWALE,
What is your website url please?
Hello MAILLAWALE,
Unfortunately mobile devices does not have enough space for the slider, but you can enable it in '/templates/as002056/css/media.767.css' file the following class (line 97):
#slider-row {
display: none;
}
We do not see any problems with the icons, them looks exact like on our demo server.
